I’ll have my luxury meal with a side of disaster, please

OK so let’s just face it, a lot of immersive theatre is bizarre, that’s kind of the point. On occasion however I come across something that is either madness or genius and I literally can’t call it.

Obviously, I desperately want to go.

So without further ado, we've all heard the tale of the Titanic, right? And we all know how it ended. But have you ever wondered what happened in those final 24 hours? Because Histoire Productions think it's time to get a little more intimate with that story - in food form.

The Queen of the Ocean is an immersive dining experience that brings you back to the fateful night of April 14, 1912.

Yes, you'll feel the panic and hysteria rising in your chest as you realize that this ship isn't going to stop sinking and you'll also enjoy a 5-course, 1st class luxury meal from Dragon Fruit Catering, who recreate the final meal served on board the ship from real passenger menus that were taken onto a lifeboat on April 14th, 1912.

It’s at super posh The Savoy in London (for £250 per ticket), although there are also showings in Brighton, Cardiff and Swansea for our UK friends (which are also less than half the price, just saying…).

If Titanic isn’t your historical event of choice, don’t worry their new show ‘Chernobyl’ is also out this year.

You can find out more and book tickets to The Queen of the Ocean 29 Oct 2022 here
