The immersive mash-up we’ve all been waiting for: The Batman and… Oreo?

This weekend, Oreo is taking over Dalston’s iconic Rio Cinema to bring us an action-packed and delicious immersive experience celebrating the opening of DC’s The Batman.

It will include, of course, screenings of the film along with immersive theatre, puzzles, “Oreo missions” and presumably cookies galore.

I have no idea what an Oreo mission is, but if watching Robert Pattinson and Zoë Kravitz be intense and munching cookies this isn’t a great weekend, I don’t know what is.

There are three screenings a day over three days and tickets are still available at Rio Cinema. Here’s their blurb:

“The electrifying, immersive experience will be shrouded in an atmosphere of suspense and brimming with unexpected surprises, fit for both the heroes and villains of Gotham city.

The fantasy experience begins the moment fans set foot inside the door, with guests ushered into a world of mystery where a series of seemingly inexplicable events and mind-boggling iniquitous occurrences have taken place. Guests will be encouraged to combine forces with Gotham’s Police Force on the most mysterious of OREO missions, to solve a series of clues and challenges, before settling into their seats to watch one of the world’s most iconic DC Super Hero sleuths in action.”
